A child considers where she’d be, or what she might do if she were one of the animals she sees in her surroundings. The story ends with self-acceptance and an invitation to join her in the adventurous world of literature.
April M. Whitt is also the author of the middle-grade series Private Eye, Romeo Riley. Mrs. Whitt is a teacher of students with disabilities and she believes when reading is fun, that’s when people read. She wants to reach readers of all abilities and be a part of building the next generation of writers and dreamers.
